How i-CAT Imaging Works
You’ll sit down in a chair and the i-CAT machine will rotate around your head taking scans of your head and mouth. The process is comfortable, painless and only takes a few seconds. The scans are then converted into high-resolution, 3D images, providing Dr. Cronin and Dr. Czarnik with much more information than a 2D x-ray.
The doctors can zoom, enhance the contrast and use other features to see every detail of your mouth from all angles. They’re also able to understand the relationship between your teeth and jaw and the rest of your anatomy. This helps them create an accurate diagnosis and personalized, detail-oriented treatment plan to give you a smile that functions as good as it looks!
