Dr. Carolyn Cronin
Board-Certified Orthodontist
Dr. Carolyn Cronin was born and raised in rural Southern Illinois and was the oldest of three children. Dr. Cronin graduated valedictorian of her high school class, and went on to the University of Illinois to major in Integrative Biology. Dr. Cronin’s first post-college job was traveling the country on the Jonas Brothers’ tour as a marketing brand ambassador.
Serendipitously, through her interaction with enthusiastic adolescent fans, she learned about the hearts and minds of young teens. As a teen herself, she spent many years in braces, and remembered the confidence she developed through her smile transformation. Dr. Cronin’s “AHA moment” was when she decided orthodontics would be the most fulfilling career: combining her passions for science, art, and social interaction to boost others’ self-esteem.
She graduated first in her dental school class at University of Illinois-Chicago and was chosen to attend arguably the most prestigious orthodontic residency in the country, University of North Carolina.
Upon moving to Colorado, Dr. Cronin opened Cronin & Czarnik Orthodontics with her husband and fellow orthodontist, Dr. Scott Czarnik. She also became a faculty member at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children at Presbyterian/St. Luke’s where she serves on the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Team.

Beyond the Practice
Dr. Cronin loves exploring Colorado and although newer to skiing, she got up the courage to try her first double black diamond run last season. She is happiest spending quality time with her daughter, Renny, hanging out with family and friends, drawing, practicing yoga and hiking.
